Suggestions for Men's Routines
Keep the routines simple and within your ability level.
Try to attain the Element Groups (0.5 each) first, then difficulty.

EXECUTION: Most of your score comes from Execution (10.0 points) and the deductions are now rather large:
0.1 small error
0.3 medium error
0.5 large error
0.8 1.0 fall

SHORT ROUTINES: There is a FIG deduction for short routines that is now in effect.
This is for REAL FIG skills (JO and high school count most all non-listed gymnastics skills as an A, FIG/NCAA do not - IT MUST BE LISTED in the FIG code of points to get a value). As seen below, there is a huge drop if you have only 6 parts, so try your best to get 7.
Parts   Execution Start
>
7          10.0
6               6.0
5               4.0
1-4            2.0

DIFFICULTY is relatively small:
0.1 A   0.2 B  0.3 C   0.4 D   0.5 E  0.6 F
So it makes sense to minimize your deductions by doing a clean routine and not worry as much about difficulty.

General Tips
Men

Keep your routine simple and short, but have at least 7 FIG-listed skills.

Stay within your ability level.

Don't let the Gig 'Em yells or Go Horns chant bother you while doing a routine.
